hustle to a job

first, we restocked one boutique
then, we hand delivered jewelry to a new boutique here in LA who is carrying our work
after that, we picked some "peaces" up from a third boutique,
then finally arrived home to find we received a check from a fourth boutique.

Runway Boutique has been around for six years and is Black owned... which I love because it means my huge Africas and more true "peaces" have a home here in town!

the feather collection launched. most are 1 of a kind!

the purpose of this collection is to get rid of some feathers i've had lying around before we launch the Fall Collection.

SOLD.

i'm receiving heavy compliments on the colorways.
i've never been one to play with color...
until now.

constant growth for the win!

"cursive graffiti necklace"

...as in
"you write in cursive, I write in graffiti."

round of applause for Q-Tip ladies and gents.

  1. can you write a post on how you go into become a jewelry maker? or is there an interview where you talk about it? and how you survive off your craft even in a bad economy?

  2. i have several interviews that i've done detailing how i fell into this wonderful space i'm in (just google "interview" "peaceimages" or something similar) --- but i'm not sure i've ever really broken it down on the site, nor how the biz survives during such a tough economy.

i DO know that during tough times, people still shop, they are just very particular about what they buy, and when. they want quality; things that will last. and now, during the DIY/handmade revolution, it's a great time to try to make your entrepreneurial dreams come true.

thanks for the inspiration on that post. i'll try to have it up by next week!
