in the groove.

...ass bustin. a lot of it.
I worked hard to make THREADshow all that it could be.
14 hours days to build up inventory,
working harder than I ever have. Ever.
It's a great feeling.

**love to Mr. DJ for taking the photos and offering so much of his precious time to make this happen.

you ever work so late into the night, you feel yourself get dizzy?
you feel confusion start to set in.
you forget things.

yea.

...it paid off.

because my table stayed busy !

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hi, made a purchase, grabbed a biz card, or flyer, offered encouraging words, reinforcement, support and love.

You never know who is standing at your table. I greet everyone with a smile to let them know how happy I am that they stopped by.

next up? THREADshow SF in the Fall.

omg.

the gold keys have made their way onto Dutch tv! Laise of Adlicious decided to rock a pair on the finale of the X Factor!! much love to Gwen over at Choco Loves for carrying my line in her boutique in Amsterdam! Check fly Laise out at the 1:50 mark in her keys!

and Kim Coles copped a purple agate ring a few months ago, and sent me a photo! She is glowing and we love this photo!

*shoutout to Felicia Leatherwood on the hairstyle

Carlina over at "Allergic..." showed us much love. Look out for more collabs between us soon :)

these sold so quickly at the show, I decided to make another pair. these will be in the boutique shortly and they are 1 of a kind.

my vision studs are available in gold now. not sure why I didn't do this sooner ...

i jazzed up these lightweight 3" brass arrows by wrapping them with wire near the head, and adding a stud to the back!

these were a THREADshow favorite, and I came home with only 1 pair left.

not much to say about this awesome brass piece.

find it in the boutique today as well!

next day off? Saturday.

The Gulf

I announced yesterday on my tumblr, facebook and twitter
that I'll be creating a small series of feather earrings dedicated to the oil spill.

This is a huge deal that could change the face of our world... and as tar drifts onto the beaches in Florida, and up toward the Northeastern seaboard of the US, I can't just sit back and do nothing.

When I donated 25% of sales to Haiti earlier this year, the response was amazing!!! I was able to send over $500 to our Haitian brothers and sisters.

I'd like to try it again.

To all who purchase a pair of feathers, 25% of your sale will head down South (i'll disclose donation info tomorrow); you will also receive a free mirrored compact w/ African wax print pattern with your purchase. Hand inlaid and a must-have in your cute summer clutches, ladies!

The purpose is to raise awareness and to assist the families and animals affected by this catastrophe.

There are generations of fisherman families whose way of life is gone forever. Fisherman come from the four corners of the world to live and to work down there. This issue affects the WORLD... not JUST the Gulf.

...since about 89% of my daily life is dedicated to jewelry, it just made sense to tie it in with my other passion.. awareness, culture and activism.

I'll debut new feather earrings everyday, for 5 days; only a few versions of each will be made. I am but 1 person :)

(The 25% will also apply to my other inventory)

Think globally, please. We are 1.

nueva!

I'm feeling better now :)

That means a hectic next few days of playing catch up on orders, custom orders, new business, etc.

I've added some newness to the lineup :)

And I'm thankful that I feel healthy enough to do so.

All are available now, on my NEW website!

a custom pair of feather earrings for the SATC II premier.
throwing your own party? would you like a bold pair of feathers
to harness your inner Samantha?

holla!

a vintage earring... repurposed.

Afghani glass gifted to me by a dear friend in Thailand,
gold coral sticks, brass.

How sick are these? I've been visualizing them for over a month.
I'm glad I was able to pull them from my brain,
and put them in my hands.
