hiiiiiiii......

*view from our bedroom window

omg... ok.
so we are in the new apt in LA.
we could NOT be happier to be here.
you'll be hearing my name more and more soon, as my sole purpose for being here is to grind in a way that I could not in other cities.

i dare not waste this time.

we got our internet installed today, so I am playing catch up for the last ten days of craziness.

if you have emailed me, thanks for your patience. you will be receiving an email in the next 24 hours
as I sift through this work.

in addition to the Fall line which drops Friday,
and will include 20+ items,
i released about 10 new "peaces" today that are all one of kind.
sort of a way to get your ready :)

i will be listing them in my big cartel, and i am even thinking of opening an etsy shop
just for these items.

in the meantime, mosey on over to the boutique, enjoy my fave song right now by the Jaspects, aaaand enjoy the photos!

i'll be back tomorrow.

xo,
C.

and sterling silver.

w/ a comfy fit
and TONS of looooong feathers
in varying colors.

Whoa!

PeaceImages was featured in the Malibu Times today. The post's purpose is highlighting retailers and designers who are donating proceeds to Haiti/Ayiti. Ayiti was Haiti's original name, fyi.

As you all know 25% of all sales will be going to Haiti for the duration of the month.

The article is available online, and in print, and can be found here.

Yay!

Hair Chains...

I am SOOOOOO excited over this new hair venture. Sistas, I'm determined to have you stylin' this year.

So I was doing a twist-out the other day and wondered what I could add to it since I wanted to leave it in a few days to have a SLAMMIN' ass fro' for the weekend.

I came up with and created these "loc chains" © Peaceimages, LLC 2010

Don't let the name fool you. I wore these on my 2-strand twists and braids. I do not make the chain heavy enough to weight the braids/twists down. I use vintage chains in gold, silver, or gunmetal.

For my sistas with smaller locs (sister), i use tiny chains to flow with the direction of your hair :)

See the pics below... use your imagination. Be fearless. Set trends.

Faith. Imani.

I spent the morning doing market research.....gotta know the competition.
...and I gotta say, a lot of you lack vision.

That is where I will prevail.

When you get tired of duplicating others styles' for the sake of profit, I'll still be going strong because I'm driven by the love.

....and when it's all said and done, if this doesn't turn out the way I plan, every day is a blessing when I can create something beautiful.
