NEW HOLIDAY DEADLINES

peace fam. last week when I announced that certain items from the boutique MUST be ordered by 12/12 to ensure holiday delivery ....

you listened. WOW. thank you.

as a result, i need to move the cut-off date up by a week to make sure I can still get them out on time. last day to order ALL hammered, handmade brass Africa items is this Wednesday 12/8.

i added several disclaimers in all boutiques - and on each individual item :)

i move.

....hey beautiful people.
What a HECTIC 3 weeks I've had.

it's been back to back orders, Fall lines, constant networking, a much-needed spiritual growth spurt, and a huuuuuge trip to ATL this week that I'm so excited about.

so since I'll be down there for about 7 days, i'll be temporarily closing the shop. you can still view my work, and still make purchases; and since I know myself, and refuse to tell a lie, i will definitely still be available by email to answer any questions you may have about my products. working for self means no vacations... ever.

items purchased from 8/9 - 8/18 won't ship until the weekend of the 21st, at the earliest.

i'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

don't hesitate to holla at me via email (photosbypeace@gmail.com) with questions about ship dates, availability, etc.

and if any boutiques in the ATL area are interested in stocking PeaceImages jewelry, contact peaceimages@gmail.com for more info.

the Fall line is scheduled to drop the week of the 23rd. it's coming along beautifully ... i can't wait to spill the beans.

ya'll already know I have some fabulous customers.. they always give me kind words of love and support, and send me pics, constantly, showcasing how they rocked my art. i love and appreciate them all for this!!
i'll share a few of the newest joints i've received:

Safia reppin' for the Motherland and NY in my "mama" ring...

my muthafuckin Ace, Ree, in 1 single
looong, bushy red feather earring.

gorgeous Philece (an amazing painter and illustrator) in my 2 finger
butterfly chain ring, "mecca...."

Amina, a super talented jewelry designer, in my Agate Ring, and Nakimuli's dookie bracelets.

Trang, from Australia, chose to rock our version of the shoulder chains with an elegant black dress. i love the mix of soft and hard. she said she was inundated with compliments that night! i love when my customers' purchases from PI are validated :)

songbird hailing from STL by the name of Theresa Payne.. or Harmony :)
she reps my "mama..." ring beautifully.

my Parisian sister Laure, with her daughter Makeda, in my "Makeda"
chain glove.

how perfect is that?

conflict music.

peace ya'll!
quick update today since i have a TON of work to catch up on from my trip this weekend.

i dropped a new series today: Conflict Music.

the purpose is to raise awareness of the various conflicts plaguing our world.
many nations are fighting battles on their own home front.
we rarely hear about them because our news coverage is so US-Centric.

step your worldly game up, won't you?

1st entry: North Korea, South Korea.
*it should be noted that North Korea poses a threat to us all. Kim Jong Il is crazy..

brass chain and charms on gold hooks.

these necklaces are specifically for everyday wear, or layering.

...on the 7th day

..she still doesn't rest.

I've had a pretty low key Sunday, despite all the work I've completed.

I made some sweet chili shrimp and pasta,
and a casserole w/fresh mozzarella, spinach, bell peppers and pesto!

That way I can spend the evening focusing on my RIDICULOUS to-do list.
My goodness!

In between filling orders today, I stopped to make a couple of new things.
It breaks up the monotony :)

Check out my updated "fuse" earrings, and a newer version, solely with ankhs.

All stones are garnet, the hooks are brass!
Each pair is about 5" and super lightweight!

you know where to go :)

What's the Word...

I'm so bad at staying in touch.
I've become consumed by my passion.

Sometimes it gets so draining to still have to create in the midst of the administrative and networking tasks that go along with running a business.

But I'm maintaining :)

I have several custom orders, a few new retailers, a new website to launch, classes to take, new things to learn, new people to meet, traveling, new spots to vend, the weather is warming up... SO MUCH TO DO!

When I cross 6 things off my list, I'm adding 13 new things soon after.

I love it.

Erlinda Denise, a stylist outta L.A. with a FABULOUS fashion/vintage blog, did a post on a few of my earrings today. She's been on my radar for over a year now, and now it's really nice to be on hers, too :)

post on me

Hope you're having a wonderful week....

consistency.

what a glorious weekend I had...
i laid out at the beach.. went swimming in the ocean..
played with clams, shells, and the likes.

i live a blessed life, and it is no more apparent than when I can take a 12 minute ride, and the spend the rest of my day laid out in the sand with my love.

it also breeds so much inspiration.

i posted some new jewelry today.. some in my personal boutique, some in my vintage shop.
