so, not 1 week into our new home, and SO much has happened.
seems like something is happening everyday here. i guess that's just life in big cities.

found out last weekend, via Twitter, that Bilal Oliver (one of my FAVE artists) needed some extras for a video for his new single.

I get dressed, apprehensively, thinking 'ok... i'm sure nothing will come of it, and TONS of other chicks are down there already, and first in line.' ... and anyway, i'm a background type of chick, anyway.

no. actually I was the first one there.. and one of the main chicks in the video.
*blank stare*what? ok....
i'm not a video chick.. so at this point, I'm just hoping I gave them SOMETHING to work with. i can be quite a dork... i tried hard to see their vision for the video, and manifest it accordingly.

still.. whoa... what a day.

I made TONS of new friends (shoutout to Geisha Marie, Thabisile, Makeda, Om'Mas,Ainjoy, Shafiq and Bilal)... spent an entire day with Bilal, and my fiancee was there every step of the way to encourage, and enjoy the eye candy.

I also rocked some of my "peaces...." naturallly.

i'm working on a dope partnership with a huuuuge blog, and I can't wait to share more details...

i'm also failing at adjusting to a new city -- it's been a rough adjustment. I hope the haze passes quickly... the nonstop orders no longer afford me the luxury of taking a day or so off, without it causing a huuuuge backup in production.

since we finally have our own space, i'll look forward to hiring an intern, and giving them their own desk in the living room a few hours a week.

*drifts off* that's gonna be so lovely.

i hope you guys dig it. it was finalized during a move from San Diego to Los Angeles.
i put everything i had into it, and when i didn't think i had anything left to give, i gave a little bit more. i feel thankful to have found something the i am so passionate about, that gives me the strength to fight through ANYTHING to see it come alive.

Updates!!!!!

- got a new apartment in Los Angeles, and we are moving ASAP
- i'll be working from home, my fiancee will split his time between home and an afterschool program
- his gig is a 1/2 mile from the spot; so we successfully avoided LA commutes! YESSS!
- my etsy site is temporarily closed down ... please use my personal boutique ONLY.
- apparently T.I.'s wife Tiny bought up every pair of PeaceImages feather earrings in stock at IVogue boutique in LA (so if any of you catch any photos of her in my sh*t, hook a sista up with a link!)
- PeaceImages is also in the upcoming issue of Russh Mag, in Australia!
- the fall line drops next week... want a preview?





I haven't stopped moving since last Sunday, and I won't be stopping until next Sunday.

sorry i've been janky with the updates.

i spent 5 straight days in the lab catching up on orders.
i think i sent out some 57 packages last week, alone.

i took a lil mini-vacation, and used up the last 2 days at my parents' time share over the weekend.








i have just as many orders to send this week + working on Fall
since i'm heading to ATL the week after next week.

i'll try hard to keep up on updates. i promise.

i wrapped my "Giza" earrings in a brighter fabric.



these are 1 of a kind.. huge shells on vintage clips, w/ brass ankhs.
the clips allow for the weight of the shells, without the strain on your earlobe.
