changes

i miss him.
i contemplated posting "hail mary," aka my sh*t
but with each passing year,
the sadder i feel that he is now traveling through the cosmos.

this record felt more aligned with my somber mood.

Illusions...

change is in the mind.
a new year coming means nothing.

my 2009 was crackin', my 2010 will be, too.
know why? cuz i will continue my present momentum AND increase it.

ya'll don't get it.

you have to get down and get dirty.
making change? glamorous, the shit aint.

it takes constant work and constant building off of mistakes.
it takes having great people around you, and having faith in yourself.

Growth...

When I first started my company, my beautiful customers began to send me photos of themselves wearing my art. It took me a minute to realize why they did it. It was because what I created for them made them feel so good, so proud, they wanted to share it with the world.

so many folks came through to send us off with good energy and well wishes..



Rockwell Knuckles, Tef Poe, Corey Black, Family Affair, Teresa Jenee, Vandalyzm, Blackspade, and so many others performed.



All for that white guy in the middle. In the 10 years he spent in STL, I'm not sure there was a DJ who supported and loved local hip hop music more than he did.



I love him and I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful potna in crime.
